Chapter 4 of 2 Kings tells several stories related to Elisha, Elijah's successor. Psalm 68:5: "Father of the orphans and judge of widows is God in his holy housing." This verse talks about God's care for widows and orphans, a theme present in 2 Kings 4, where Elisha helps two widows in need.

Matthew 10:8: "Pen the sick, resurrect the dead, purify the lepers, kick the demons. You received it for free; This verse talks about the miracles that Jesus commanded his disciples to do, including the resurrection of the dead, a miracle that Elisha performs in 2 Kings 4:18-37.

2 Corinthians 12:9: "But he said to me, 'My grace is enough for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.' Therefore, I will gloriously glory in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can rest on me." This verse talks about how God's grace is sufficient for us in our weaknesses, a theme present in 2 Kings 4:38-41, where Elisha uses an unusual method (flour) to heal the poisoned pan, showing that God can use means unexpected to perform their miracles.
