Chapter 7 of 1 kings describes the construction of King Solomon's palace, including the construction of the Temple of the Lord and the house of Solomon. 2 Chronicles 3:3-4: "And Solomon began to build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem, Mount Moriá, where the Lord had appeared to David, his father, a place that David had prepared in the throat of Ornã, Jebusu.
