Genesis, 6

16. Thou shalt make a window in the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish the top of it: and the door of the ark thou shalt set in the side: with lower, middle chambers, and third stories shalt thou make it.

Genesis 6 tells the story of the flood, an event in which God decides to destroy humanity because of his corruption and evil, preserving only Noah and his family, as well as a representation of each type of animal in an ark. The selected verses are:

Isaiah 54:9: "For this will be to me as the waters of Noah; for I swore that Noah's waters would no longer flood the earth, and thus I swore that I will no longer go against you, nor will I rebuke you." This verse refers to Noah's flood as a promise of God that he will never destroy the earth with water again.

2 Peter 2:5: "And it did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of justice, with seven more people when he brought the flood over a world of wicked." This verse mentions Noah as a preacher of justice and the destruction of the wicked world by the flood.

Matthew 24:37-39: "For as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be the coming of the Son of man. For, as in the days before the flood, they ate, drank, married, and giving themselves in marriage, until The day Noah entered the ark, and did not realize him, until the flood came, and led them to all; so will be the coming of the son of man. " This verse compares the flood with the second coming of Jesus, emphasizing the need to be prepared for judgment.

Genesis 9:11: "I establish my covenant with you: no creature will never be exterminated because of the waters of the flood; there will never be another flood to destroy the earth." This verse is God establishing the covenant with Noah after the flood, promising never to destroy the earth with water.

Hebrews 11:7: "By faith, Noah, divinely instructed about events that have not yet been seen and being fearful to God, built an ark to save his family; and through faith condemned the world and became heir to justice that is according to faith. " This verse highlights Noah's faith to obey God and build the ark, as well as his righteousness and salvation of destruction.
