" This verse highlights the belief that God was controlling the fate of the Israelites and that his enemies were being delivered into his hands by divine will.
Deuteronomy 2:37 - "Only with the land of the children of Ammon you have not arrived, neither to the entire Ribeira Jaboque, nor to the cities in the mountain, nor anywhere the Lord our God has forbidden."
