36. The king also sent, and called for Semei, and said to him: Build thee a house in Jerusalem, and dwell there: and go not out from thence any whither.

Chapter 2 of 1 kings deals with the death of King David and the succession of the throne by Solomon, his son. Psalm 72:1: "O God, give the King your judgments, and your righteousness to the Son of the King." This psalm talks about justice that must be exercised by kings and how they must govern with equity. Proverbs 20:28: "Mercy and truth keep the king, and with mercy sustains his throne."
