Exodus, 15

23. And they arrived at Marah. They were unable to drink the waters of Marah because they were bitter. Therefore, he also established a name befitting the place, calling it ‘Marah,’ that is, bitterness.

Exodus 15 narrates the song of Moses and the people of Israel after crossing the Red Sea and witnessed the defeat of the Egyptians. Deuteronomy 31:6: "Be strong and brave. Do not be afraid or be terrified before them, for the Lord, your God, go with you; will never leave them, will never abandon them." Revelation 15:3: "Great and wonderful are your works, Lord God Almighty. RIGHT AND TRUE are your ways, O king of nations." This verse is a song of praise to God for his great deeds and his faithfulness to fulfill his promises.
