2 Chronicles, 8

11. Truly, he transferred the daughter of Pharaoh, from the City of David, to the house that he had built for her. For the king said: “My wife shall not live in the house of David, king of Israel, for it has been sanctified. For the ark of the Lord has entered into it.”

2 Chronicles 8 reports how Solomon built several cities and fortresses, as well as establishing commercial routes and taxes for the Kingdom of Israel. He also built a palace for himself and one for Pharaoh's daughter, who became his wife. Here are five verses related to the topics covered in 2 Chronicles 8:

1 Kings 9:10-11: "After twenty years, in which Solomon built the two houses, namely the house of the Lord and the house of the king, Hiram, king of Tire, provided the Solomon Madeira de Cedro and of Pine and gold, according to all his desire, then, gave King Solomon to twenty cities in the land of Galilee. 1 Kings 10:26: "Solomon also gathered cars and knights; he had a thousand and four hundred cars and twelve thousand knights; and distributed them through the cities of the cars and with the king in Jerusalem." This verse talks about the military expansion of Solomon, which has accumulated a large amount of cars and knights to protect his kingdom.
