19. Then he struck Nob, the city of the priests, with the edge of the sword; he struck down men and women, little ones and infants, as well as ox and donkey and sheep, with the edge of the sword.

Hebrews 13:5-6-"Be your life exempt from greed, contenting you with what you have; for he himself said, I will not let you, nor will I help you. And so with confidence we dared to say, The Lord is my helper , and I will not fear what the man can do to me. " These verses encourage believers not to give in to greed and to trust the Lord as his helper and protector, just as David did during his Saul escape.
