Exodus, 40

1. And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

1. Reèe Jahve Mojsiju:

2. “In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall raise the tabernacle of the testimony,

2. "Na prvi dan prvoga mjeseca podigni Prebivalište, Šator sastanka.

3. and you shall place the ark in it, and you shall release the veil before it.

3. Ondje postavi Kovèeg svjedoèanstva, onda Kovèeg zakloni zavjesom.

4. And having brought in the table, you shall place the things which were solemnly commanded upon it. The lampstand shall stand with its lamps,

4. Potom unesi stol i što na nj spada poredaj; unesi i svijeænjak i svijeæe mu pripremi.

5. and the altar of gold, in which the incense is burned, shall stand before the ark of the testimony. You shall place the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle,

5. A zlatni žrtvenik za kaðenje postavi pred Kovèeg svjedoèanstva. Onda objesi zastor nad ulazom u Prebivalište.

6. and before it, the altar of holocaust.

6. Stavi žrtvenik za žrtve paljenice pred ulaz Prebivališta, Šatora sastanka.

7. The washtub shall stand between the altar and the tabernacle, and you shall fill it with water.

7. Izmeðu Šatora sastanka i žrtvenika smjesti umivaonik i u nj nalij vode.

8. And you shall encompass the atrium and its entrance with hangings.

8. Naokolo napravi dvorište i objesi zastor nad dvorišnim ulazom.

9. And, having taken up the oil of unction, you shall anoint the tabernacle along with its articles, so that they may be sanctified.

9. Zatim uzmi ulja za pomazanje pa pomaži Prebivalište i sve što je u njemu; posveti ga i sav njegov pribor, pa æe svetim postati.

10. The altar of holocaust and all its vessels,

10. Pomaži potom žrtvenik za žrtve paljenice i sav njegov pribor; posveti žrtvenik i presvetim æe žrtvenik postati.

11. the washtub with its base, and all things, you shall consecrate with the oil of unction, so that they may be the Holy of holies.

11. Pomaži umivaonik s njegovim stalkom: posveti ga!

12. And you shall bring forward Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony, and, having washed them with water,

12. Dovedi zatim Arona i njegove sinove na ulaz Šatora sastanka pa ih operi vodom.

13. you shall clothe them in the holy vestments, so that they may minister to me, and so that their unction may accomplish an everlasting priesthood.”

13. Stavi onda na Arona posveæenu odjeæu; pomaži ga i posveti da mi služi kao sveæenik.

14. And Moses did all that the Lord had instructed.

14. Dovedi i njegove sinove, na njih stavi košulje

15. Therefore, in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was put in place.

15. i pomaži ih, kako si pomazao i njihova oca, da mi služe kao sveæenici. Njihovo pomazanje neka ih uvede u vjeèno sveæenstvo u sve njihove naraštaje."

16. And Moses raised it up, and he positioned the panels as well as the bases and the bars, and he set up the columns,

16. Tako Mojsije uèini. Kako mu je Jahve naredio, sve je tako i uèinio.

17. and he stretched out the roof over the tabernacle, imposing a cover above it, just as the Lord had decreed.

17. Prvoga dana prvoga mjeseca druge godine Prebivalište bi podignuto.

18. And he placed the testimony in the ark, applying the bars beneath, and the oracle above.

18. Ovako Mojsije namjesti Prebivalište: razmjesti njegova podnožja, onda uspravi njegove trenice, zatim postavi prijeènice i podiže stupove.

19. And when he had brought the ark into the tabernacle, he drew the veil before it, in order to fulfill the commandment of the Lord.

19. Zatim raspne Šator nad Prebivalište, a povrh njega stavi pokrov Šatora, kako je Jahve Mojsiju naredio.

20. And he placed the table in the tabernacle of the testimony, at the north side, beyond the veil,

20. Uze onda Svjedoèanstvo i stavi ga u Kovèeg; na Kovèeg postavi motke; onda stavi Pomirilište ozgo na Kovèeg.

21. arranging before it the bread of the presence, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.

21. Potom unese Kovèeg u Prebivalište; objesi zavjesu za zaklon. Tako zastre Kovèeg svjedoèanstva, kako je Jahve i naredio Mojsiju.

22. And he placed the lampstand in the tabernacle of the testimony, away from the table, on the south side,

22. Zatim postavi stol u Šator sastanka, Prebivalištu sa sjeverne strane, ali izvan zavjese.

23. setting the lamps in order, according to the precept of the Lord.

23. Po njemu poreda kruhove pred Jahvom, kako je Jahve naredio Mojsiju.

24. He also positioned the altar of gold under the roof of the testimony, opposite the veil,

24. Onda smjesti svijeænjak u Šator sastanka naprama stolu, na južnoj strani Prebivališta.

25. and he heaped upon it the incense of aromatics, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

25. I postavi svjetiljke pred Jahvom, kako je Jahve naredio Mojsiju.

26. And he positioned the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony,

26. Zlatni žrtvenik smjesti u Šator sastanka, pred zavjesu.

27. and the altar of holocaust in the vestibule of the testimony, offering the holocaust and the sacrifices upon it, just as the Lord had decreed.

27. Na njemu zapali miomirisnog tamjana, kako je Jahve naredio Mojsiju.

28. Likewise, he stationed the washtub between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar, filling it with water.

28. Poslije toga stavi zavjesu na ulaz u Prebivalište.

29. And Moses and Aaron, along with his sons, washed their hands and feet,

29. Kod ulaza u Prebivalište, u Šator sastanka, postavi žrtvenik za žrtve paljenice. Na njemu prinese žrtvu paljenicu i žrtvu od žita, kako je Jahve naredio Mojsiju.

30. whenever they would enter the covering of the covenant, and when they approached to the altar, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.

30. Izmeðu Šatora sastanka i žrtvenika smjesti umivaonik pa u nj ulije vode za pranje.

31. And he raised up the atrium around the tabernacle and the altar, drawing the hanging at its entrance. After all these things were perfected,

31. Iz njega su Mojsije, Aron i njegovi sinovi prali svoje ruke i svoje noge.

32. the cloud covered the tabernacle of the testimony, and the glory of the Lord filled it.

32. A prali su se kad su ulazili u Šator sastanka i kad su pristupali k žrtveniku, kako je Jahve naredio Mojsiju.

33. Neither could Moses enter the covering of the covenant: the cloud was covering all things, and the majesty of the Lord was flashing. For the cloud had covered everything.

33. Napokon Mojsije napravi dvorište oko Prebivališta i žrtvenika i postavi zavjesu na dvorišnim vratima. Tako Mojsije završi taj posao.

34. Whenever the cloud departed from the tabernacle, the sons of Israel set out by their companies.

34. A onda oblak prekri Šator sastanka i slava Jahvina ispuni Prebivalište.

35. But if it remained hanging over it, they remained in the same place.

35. Mojsije nije mogao uæi u Šator sastanka zbog oblaka koji je na njemu stajao i slave Jahvine koja je ispunjala Prebivalište.

36. Certainly, the cloud of the Lord lay over the tabernacle by day, and the fire by night, being seen by all the people of Israel throughout all their resting places.

36. Sve vrijeme njihova putovanja, kad god bi se oblak digao s Prebivališta, Izraelci bi krenuli;

37.

37. ali ako se oblak ne bi digao, ni oni ne bi na put polazili sve do dana dok se ne bi digao.

38.

38. Jer sve vrijeme njihova putovanja oblak Jahvin danju stajaše nad Prebivalištem, a noæu bi se u oblaku pojavila vatra vidljiva svemu domu Izraelovu.
