Ezra, 3

8. Now in the second year of their coming to the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, Zerub'babel the son of She-al'ti-el and Jeshua the son of Jo'zadak made a beginning, together with the rest of their brethren, the priests and the Levites and all who had come to Jerusalem from the captivity. They appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to have the oversight of the work of the house of the LORD.

Ezra 3 describes the reconstruction of the altar and the celebration of the Tabernacle Feast by the newly arrived Jews to Jerusalem. The chapter also mentions the beginning of the construction of the temple and the joy of priests and Levites in the face of this project.

Ageu 2:9: "The glory of this last house will be greater than that of the first, says the Lord of hosts, and in this place I will give peace, says the Lord of hosts."
