Deuteronomy, 11

30. Are they not beyond the Jordan, west of the road, toward the going down of the sun, in the land of the Canaanites who live in the Arabah, over against Gilgal, beside the oak of Moreh?

Deuteronomy 11 Emphasizes the importance of loving and obeying God, as well as teaching their commandments to children and remembering the blessings and curses associated with obedience or disobedience. Matthew 22:37-39: "Jesus answered, 'Love the Lord, His God of all His heart, all His soul and all His understanding.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is similar to him: 'Love your neighbor as yourself'. " This verse highlights the commandment of loving God above all and loving one's own as itself as a way of obeying God's commandments.

Psalm 78:4: "We will not cover it from our children, telling the future generation the praises of the Lord, and their strength, and the wonders that have made."
