Ruth, 2

12. The Lord render unto thee for thy work, and mayest thou receive a full reward of the Lord the God of Israel, to whom thou art come, and under whose wings thou art fled.

Ruth 2 deals with the story of Ruth, a Moabite widow who will harvest ears in the field of Boaz, a relative close to her late husband. In this chapter, Boaz's generosity and kindness is presented, which allows Ruth to collect ears in her field and still protects her and cares for her. In addition, the chapter also shows the relationship of care and loyalty between Ruth and his mother -in -law Naomi.

Proverbs 19:17: "He who treats the poor well lends to the Lord, and he will reward him, giving him everything he needs." This verse shows that God blesses those who treat the needy well, as Boaz did by allowing Ruth to harvest ears in his field.

Deuteronomy 24:19: "When you are reaping your grapes in your vineyard, don't go back to catch what you have left. Psalm 91:4: "He will cover him with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; His fidelity will be his protective shield." This verse talks about divine protection and God's faithfulness, something that is evidenced in Ruth's history through the protection and care that Boaz offers her.
