Chapter 4 of numbers deals with the responsibilities of the Levites regarding the transport of the tabernacle and the sacred objects during the journey through the desert. The selected verses are:
Deuteronomy 31:25-26: "That Moses commanded the Levites to transport the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying, Take this book of the law and put it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord, your God, that it may be as witness against you. " These verses show the importance of the Levites in the transport of sacred objects, including the Ark of the Covenant.
1 Chronicles 15:2: "Then David said, Here is the ark of God, which we have sought, to put under a tent we did to him." This verse describes the transfer of the ark from the covenant to Jerusalem, where David built a tabernacle to shelter it.
1 Chronicles 23:24-32: "These were their responsibilities regarding the service in the tabernacle of the house of God, according to the instructions of Aaron, his Father, like the Lord, the God of Israel had commanded him." These verses detail the responsibilities of the Levites in the tabernacle service and how they were assigned to fulfill these functions.
Psalm 84:1-2: "How lovely are your tabernacles, Lord of hosts! My soul Hinged, and even fade through the Lord's atria; my heart and my body sing with joy to the living God." This psalm describes the desire to worship God in the tabernacle and how people were attracted to the presence of God there.
Hebrews 9:1-5: "Now the first covenant also had ordinances of worship and an earthly sanctuary. For a tabernacle was prepared, the first, in which there was the chandelier, and the table, and the bread of the proposition; and a This one called the holy place. But behind the second veil was the tabernacle called the Holy of Saints, who had a gold censer, and the ark of the alliance all covered with gold ... "These verses describe the Tabernacle and their sacred objects in detail, giving a deeper understanding of how it all worked and how important it was for worship of God.
