Leviticus, 12

5. But if she shall bear a maid child, she shall be unclean two weeks, according to the custom of her monthly courses, and she shall remain in the blood of her purification sixty-six days.

Leviticus 12 deals with the purification of women after delivery. God gives Moses instructions on what women should do after giving birth to a boy or a girl, including the period of purification and the sacrifices that must be offered. Luke 2:22: "And when their days of purification were fulfilled, according to the law of Moses, they brought him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord." This verse talks about compliance with purification laws according to the law of Moses, something that is addressed in Leviticus 12.
