Ezekiel, 26

17. And taking up a lamentation over thee, they shall sag to thee: How art thou fallen, that dwellest in the sea, renowned city that wast strong in the sea, with thy inhabitants whom all did dread?

Ezekiel 26 contains a prophecy about the destruction of the city of Tire. The verses selected below are related to God's sovereignty and their ability to judge the nations:

Psalm 75:6-7: "In the hands of the Lord is a chalice full of sparkling wine, mixed with spices; He spills it, and all the wicked of the earth drink it to the end. from Jacob.
