Leviticus, 15

1. And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:

1. καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων λέγων

2. Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: The man that hath an issue of seed, shall be unclean.

2. λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς αὐτοῖς ἀνδρὶ ἀνδρί ᾧ ἐὰν γένηται ῥύσις ἐκ τοῦ σώματος αὐτοῦ ἡ ῥύσις αὐτοῦ ἀκάθαρτός ἐστιν

3. And then shall he be judged subject to this evil, when a filthy humour, at every moment, cleaveth to his flesh, and gathereth there.

3. καὶ οὗτος ὁ νόμος τῆς ἀκαθαρσίας αὐτοῦ ῥέων γόνον ἐκ σώματος αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῆς ῥύσεως ἧς συνέστηκεν τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ διὰ τῆς ῥύσεως αὕτη ἡ ἀκαθαρσία αὐτοῦ ἐν αὐτῷ πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι ῥύσεως σώματος αὐτοῦ ᾗ συνέστηκεν τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ διὰ τῆς ῥύσεως ἀκαθαρσία αὐτοῦ ἐστιν

4. Every bed on which he sleepeth, shall be unclean, and every place on which he sitteth.

4. πᾶσα κοίτη ἐφ’ ᾗ ἐὰν κοιμηθῇ ἐπ’ αὐτῆς ὁ γονορρυής ἀκάθαρτός ἐστιν καὶ πᾶν σκεῦος ἐφ’ ὃ ἐὰν καθίσῃ ἐπ’ αὐτὸ ὁ γονορρυής ἀκάθαρτον ἔσται

5. If ally man touch his bed, he shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, he shall be unclean until the evening.

5. καὶ ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἂν ἅψηται τῆς κοίτης αὐτοῦ πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ καὶ λούσεται ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας

6. If a man sit where that man hath sitten, he also shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, shall be unclean until the evening.

6. καὶ ὁ καθήμενος ἐπὶ τοῦ σκεύους ἐφ’ ὃ ἐὰν καθίσῃ ὁ γονορρυής πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ καὶ λούσεται ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας

7. He that toucheth his flesh, shall wash his clothes: and being himself washed with water shall be unclean until the evening.

7. καὶ ὁ ἁπτόμενος τοῦ χρωτὸς τοῦ γονορρυοῦς πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια καὶ λούσεται ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας

8. If such a man cast his spittle upon him that is clean, he shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, he shall be unclean until the evening.

8. ἐὰν δὲ προσσιελίσῃ ὁ γονορρυὴς ἐπὶ τὸν καθαρόν πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια καὶ λούσεται ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας

9. The saddle on which he hath sitten shall be unclean.

9. καὶ πᾶν ἐπίσαγμα ὄνου ἐφ’ ὃ ἂν ἐπιβῇ ἐπ’ αὐτὸ ὁ γονορρυής ἀκάθαρτον ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας

10. And whatsoever has been under him that hath the issue of seed, shall be unclean until the evening. He that carrieth any of these things, shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, he shall be unclean until the evening.

10. καὶ πᾶς ὁ ἁπτόμενος ὅσα ἐὰν ᾖ ὑποκάτω αὐτοῦ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας καὶ ὁ αἴρων αὐτὰ πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ καὶ λούσεται ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας

11. Every person whom such a one shall touch, not having washed his hands before, shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, shall be unclean until the evening.

11. καὶ ὅσων ἐὰν ἅψηται ὁ γονορρυὴς καὶ τὰς χεῖρας οὐ νένιπται πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια καὶ λούσεται τὸ σῶμα ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας

12. If he touch a vessel of earth, it shall be broken: but if a vessel of wood, if shall be washed with water.

12. καὶ σκεῦος ὀστράκινον οὗ ἂν ἅψηται ὁ γονορρυής συντριβήσεται καὶ σκεῦος ξύλινον νιφήσεται ὕδατι καὶ καθαρὸν ἔσται

13. If he who suffereth this disease be healed, he shall number seven days after his cleansing, and having washed his clothes, and all his body in living water, he shall be clean.

13. ἐὰν δὲ καθαρισθῇ ὁ γονορρυὴς ἐκ τῆς ῥύσεως αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξαριθμήσεται αὐτῷ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας εἰς τὸν καθαρισμὸν καὶ πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ καὶ λούσεται τὸ σῶμα ὕδατι καὶ καθαρὸς ἔσται

14. And on the eighth day he shall take two turtles, or two young pigeons, and he shall come before the Lord, to the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, and shall give them to the priest:

14. καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ὀγδόῃ λήμψεται ἑαυτῷ δύο τρυγόνας ἢ δύο νεοσσοὺς περιστερῶν καὶ οἴσει αὐτὰ ἔναντι κυρίου ἐπὶ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ δώσει αὐτὰ τῷ ἱερεῖ

15. Who shall offer one for sin, and the other for a holocaust: and he shall pray for him before the Lord, that he may be cleansed of the issue of his seed.

15. καὶ ποιήσει αὐτὰ ὁ ἱερεύς μίαν περὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ μίαν εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτοῦ ὁ ἱερεὺς ἔναντι κυρίου ἀπὸ τῆς ῥύσεως αὐτοῦ

16. The man from whom the seed of copulation goeth out, shall wash all his body with water: and he shall be unclean until the evening.

16. καὶ ἄνθρωπος ᾧ ἐὰν ἐξέλθῃ ἐξ αὐτοῦ κοίτη σπέρματος καὶ λούσεται ὕδατι πᾶν τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας

17. The garment or skin that he weareth, he shall wash with water, and it shall be unclean until the evening.

17. καὶ πᾶν ἱμάτιον καὶ πᾶν δέρμα ἐφ’ ὃ ἐὰν ᾖ ἐπ’ αὐτὸ κοίτη σπέρματος καὶ πλυθήσεται ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτον ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας

18. The woman, with whom he copulateth, shall be washed with water, and shall be unclean until the evening.

18. καὶ γυνή ἐὰν κοιμηθῇ ἀνὴρ μετ’ αὐτῆς κοίτην σπέρματος καὶ λούσονται ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτοι ἔσονται ἕως ἑσπέρας

19. The woman, who at the return of the month, hath her issue of blood, shall be separated seven days.

19. καὶ γυνή ἥτις ἐὰν ᾖ ῥέουσα αἵματι ἔσται ἡ ῥύσις αὐτῆς ἐν τῷ σώματι αὐτῆς ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἀφέδρῳ αὐτῆς πᾶς ὁ ἁπτόμενος αὐτῆς ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας

20. Every one that toucheth her, shall be unclean until the evening.

20. καὶ πᾶν ἐφ’ ὃ ἂν κοιτάζηται ἐπ’ αὐτὸ ἐν τῇ ἀφέδρῳ αὐτῆς ἀκάθαρτον ἔσται καὶ πᾶν ἐφ’ ὃ ἂν ἐπικαθίσῃ ἐπ’ αὐτό ἀκάθαρτον ἔσται

21. 21And every thing that she sleepeth on, or that she sitteth on in the days of her separation, shall be defiled.

21. καὶ πᾶς ὃς ἐὰν ἅψηται τῆς κοίτης αὐτῆς πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ καὶ λούσεται τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας

22. He that toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes: and being himself washed with water, shall be unclean until the evening.

22. καὶ πᾶς ὁ ἁπτόμενος παντὸς σκεύους οὗ ἐὰν καθίσῃ ἐπ’ αὐτό πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ καὶ λούσεται ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας

23. Whosoever shall touch any vessel on which she sitteth, shall wash his clothes: and himself being washed with water, shall be defiled until the evening.

23. ἐὰν δὲ ἐν τῇ κοίτῃ αὐτῆς οὔσης ἢ ἐπὶ τοῦ σκεύους οὗ ἐὰν καθίσῃ ἐπ’ αὐτῷ ἐν τῷ ἅπτεσθαι αὐτὸν αὐτῆς ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας

24. If a man copulateth with her in the time of her flowers, he shall be unclean seven days: and every bed on which he shall sleep shall be defiled.

24. ἐὰν δὲ κοίτῃ τις κοιμηθῇ μετ’ αὐτῆς καὶ γένηται ἡ ἀκαθαρσία αὐτῆς ἐπ’ αὐτῷ καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας καὶ πᾶσα κοίτη ἐφ’ ᾗ ἂν κοιμηθῇ ἐπ’ αὐτῆς ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται

25. The woman that hath an issue of blood many days out of her ordinary time, or that ceaseth not to flow after the monthly courses, as long as she is subject to this disease, shall be unclean, in the same manner as if she were in her flowers.

25. καὶ γυνή ἐὰν ῥέῃ ῥύσει αἵματος ἡμέρας πλείους οὐκ ἐν καιρῷ τῆς ἀφέδρου αὐτῆς ἐὰν καὶ ῥέῃ μετὰ τὴν ἄφεδρον αὐτῆς πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι ῥύσεως ἀκαθαρσίας αὐτῆς καθάπερ αἱ ἡμέραι τῆς ἀφέδρου ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται

26. Every bed on which she sleepeth, and every vessel on which she sitteth, shall be defiled.

26. καὶ πᾶσαν κοίτην ἐφ’ ἣν ἂν κοιμηθῇ ἐπ’ αὐτῆς πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς ῥύσεως κατὰ τὴν κοίτην τῆς ἀφέδρου ἔσται αὐτῇ καὶ πᾶν σκεῦος ἐφ’ ὃ ἐὰν καθίσῃ ἐπ’ αὐτό ἀκάθαρτον ἔσται κατὰ τὴν ἀκαθαρσίαν τῆς ἀφέδρου

27. Whosoever toucheth them shall wash his clothes: and himself being washed with water, shall be unclean until the evening.

27. πᾶς ὁ ἁπτόμενος αὐτῆς ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται καὶ πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια καὶ λούσεται τὸ σῶμα ὕδατι καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας

28. If the blood stop and cease to run, she shall count seven days of her purification:

28. ἐὰν δὲ καθαρισθῇ ἀπὸ τῆς ῥύσεως καὶ ἐξαριθμήσεται αὐτῇ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα καθαρισθήσεται

29. And on the eighth day she shall offer for herself to the priest, two turtles, or two young pigeons, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony:

29. καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ὀγδόῃ λήμψεται αὐτῇ δύο τρυγόνας ἢ δύο νεοσσοὺς περιστερῶν καὶ οἴσει αὐτὰ πρὸς τὸν ἱερέα ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου

30. And he shall offer one for sin, and the other for a holocaust, and he shall pray for her before the Lord, and for the issue of her uncleanness.

30. καὶ ποιήσει ὁ ἱερεὺς τὴν μίαν περὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ τὴν μίαν εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτῆς ὁ ἱερεὺς ἔναντι κυρίου ἀπὸ ῥύσεως ἀκαθαρσίας αὐτῆς

31. You shall teach therefore the children of Israel to take heed of uncleanness, that they may not die in their filth, when they shall have defiled my tabernacle that is among them.

31. καὶ εὐλαβεῖς ποιήσετε τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἀπὸ τῶν ἀκαθαρσιῶν αὐτῶν καὶ οὐκ ἀποθανοῦνται διὰ τὴν ἀκαθαρσίαν αὐτῶν ἐν τῷ μιαίνειν αὐτοὺς τὴν σκηνήν μου τὴν ἐν αὐτοῖς

32. This is the law of him that hath the issue of seed, and that is defiled by copulation.

32. οὗτος ὁ νόμος τοῦ γονορρυοῦς καὶ ἐάν τινι ἐξέλθῃ ἐξ αὐτοῦ κοίτη σπέρματος ὥστε μιανθῆναι ἐν αὐτῇ

33. And of the woman that is separated in her monthly times, or that hath a continual issue of blood, and of the man that sleepeth with her.

33. καὶ τῇ αἱμορροούσῃ ἐν τῇ ἀφέδρῳ αὐτῆς καὶ ὁ γονορρυὴς ἐν τῇ ῥύσει αὐτοῦ τῷ ἄρσενι ἢ τῇ θηλείᾳ καὶ τῷ ἀνδρί ὃς ἂν κοιμηθῇ μετὰ ἀποκαθημένης
