Zechariah, 10

2. For the images have been speaking what is useless, and the diviners have seen a lie, and the dreamers have been speaking false hope: they have comforted in vain. For this reason, they have been led away like a flock; they will be afflicted, because they have no shepherd.

Zechariah 10 is a chapter that talks about the restoration of God's people and the care God has for His sheep. The prophet encourages the people to seek the Lord and to trust their leadership, for He will provide everything they need. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in Zechariah 10.

Isaiah 40:11: "As a pastor he will take care of his flock, his arm will gather the dulls and take them on his lap; he will gently guide the breastfeeding sheep." This verse portrays the image of God as a loving shepherd who takes care of his sheep, as mentioned in Zechariah 10:2-3.

Ezekiel 34:11: "For thus says the sovereign, the Lord, I will seek my sheep myself and take care of them." This verse highlights God's care for His sheep, as is emphasized in Zechariah 10:3-4.

Jeremiah 31:10: "Listen to the word of the Lord, O nations, and announce in the distant islands, 'He who dispersed Israel will gather them and keep them, as a pastor who cares for his flock.'" This verse shows how God will bring His people back to their land and take care of Him as a pastor takes care of his sheep, as mentioned in Zechariah 10:8.

Psalm 23:1: "The Lord is my pastor; nothing will lack me." This verse portrays God as a pastor who guides and provides for his sheep, as is emphasized in Zechariah 10:3-4.

Jeremiah 50:6: "My people was an lost sheep; his shepherds led her to get lost in the hills. They went from Monte to Monte, forgetting his corral." This verse talks about the people of God who has been lost because of their unfaithful pastors, but God promises to bring His sheep back home, as mentioned in Zechariah 10:2-3.
