2 Corinthians 12:7: "And so that it would not teach me with the greatness of the revelations, I was put a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, to slap myself, so that it does not exalt too much." This verse talks about the apostle Paul, who also faced a messenger from Satan, as Sarah, and how he prayed for God to help him.

James 4:7: "Subject to God, but resist the devil, and he shall run away from you." This verse encourages Christians to resist the devil and trust God to help them overcome their temptations and trials.

1 Peter 5:8-9: "Sober and vigilant thirst, because the Devil, your adversary, is melting, bustling as a lion, seeking to those who can swallow; to which resisted firm in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are fulfilled between your brothers in the world. Ephesians 6:12: "For we do not have to fight against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the princes of darkness of this century, against the spiritual hosts of evil in the heavenly places." This verse talks about the spiritual nature of the battle that Christians face, and how they must be equipped with God's armor to resist the devil's onslaught.
