Numbers, 18

17. But the firstborn of a cow, or of a sheep, or of a goat, you shall not cause to be redeemed, because they have been sanctified to the Lord. Thus, their blood you shall pour out upon the altar, and their fat you shall burn as a most sweet odor to the Lord.

Chapter 18 of numbers is dedicated to Levi's tribe and his role as tabernacle priests. The following verses are related to the topics dealt with in chapter:

Exodus 29:9: "And you thou bear the belt of pure gold, and you will give the diadem of holiness in your head." This verse describes the preparation of priests for the tabernacle service, including the garment and the diadem they should wear.
