Judith, 15

1. And when the entire army had heard that Holofernes was beheaded, reason and resolution fled from them, and, being moved by trembling and fear alone, they thought only to flee to safety.

Judite 15 narrates Judith's victory over the Assyrian army led by Holofernes. She can behead Holofernes while he slept, causing the enemy army's disorganization and his later defeat by the Israelites led by Ozias. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in Judite 15:

This verse encourages Joshua to lead the people of Israel to the Promised Land and may have served as an inspiration to Judite, who led his people to victory against the Assyrians.
