2 Chronicles, 29

21. And together they offered seven bulls and seven rams, seven lambs and seven he-goats, for sin, for the kingdom, for the Sanctuary, for Judah. And he spoke to the priests, the sons of Aaron, so that they would offer these upon the altar of the Lord.

2 Chronicles 29 reports the reign of Hezekiah in Judah and how he restored the worship of God in the temple in Jerusalem. He summoned the priests and Levites to purify the temple and the sacred utensils, as well as restore the practices of worship of God. Psalm 24:3-4: "Who will rise to the Mount of the Lord? Who shall remain in his holy place? What is cleaned with hands and pure of heart that does not give his soul to vanity, nor swear misleading." This verse highlights the importance of holiness and honesty for those who wish to worship God.

Psalm 116:12-13: "What will I give to the Lord for all its benefits to me? I will take the cup of salvation, and invoke the name of the Lord." This verse highlights the importance of gratitude and recognition for the benefits God gives to his servants.
