Wisdom of Solomon, 8

21. And knowing that I could not otherwise possess her except God gave it-- and this, too, was prudence, to know whose is the gift-- I went to the LORD and besought him, and said with all my heart:

Proverbs 8:11: "For wisdom is better than jewelry, and all that one desires nothing can be compared to it." This verse highlights the importance of wisdom, which is more valuable than any material object.

Proverbs 16:16: "The better it is to acquire wisdom than gold! And the more excellent, acquire prudence than silver!" This verse reinforces the idea that wisdom is more valuable than any material wealth.

Proverbs 4:7: "Wisdom is the main thing; because wisdom, it employs everything you have in the acquisition of understanding." This verse points out that wisdom is the most important thing someone can acquire and should be sought with all commitment.
