St. Luke 23 reports the judgment, condemnation and crucifixion of Jesus. In addition, the chapter also presents some people involved in the crucifixion, such as Pilate and the Crucified Criminals with Jesus. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in São Luke 23:
Isaiah 53:5: "But he was wounded by our transgressions and ground for our iniquities; the punishment that brings us peace was upon Him, and by his footsteps we were healed."
