Esther, 8

17. In each and every province and in each and every city, wherever the king's order arrived, there was merriment and exultation, banqueting and feasting for the Jews. And many of the peoples of the land embraced Judaism, for they were seized with a fear of the Jews.

Esther Chapter 8 deals with the solution found by Esther and Mordecau to the problem of the death sentence that had been decreed against the Jews. Philippians 4:6: "You are not restless for anything; before, your petitions are all known before God, prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving." This verse encourages prayer as a means of expressing our needs and concerns to God, making sure that He hears and responds to our prayer.
