Leviticus, 1

5. Then he shall kill the bull before the LORD; and Aaron's sons the priests shall present the blood, and throw the blood round about against the altar that is at the door of the tent of meeting.

Leviticus 22:19-20 - "If you offer a defective animal, this will not be accepted for you. It will not be accepted in your favor, because it is defective." This verse highlights the importance of observance of sacred days, when the people should offer sacrifices to the Lord as a form of worship.
