Genesis, 42

13. And they said, "We, your servants, are twelve brothers, the sons of one man in the land of Canaan; and behold, the youngest is this day with our father, and one is no more."

Ephesians 4:32: "Before, thirst for one to the other benign, merciful, forgiving one another, as God has forgiven you in Christ." Joseph chooses to forgive his brothers for what they did to him, showing them the same mercy that God showed him. James 5:16: "Confess, therefore, your sins to each other and pray for each other, to be healed. The prayer made by a righteous can much in its effects." Confession and sharing of our burdens with each other can lead to healing and restoration of broken relationships.
