2 Samuel, 3

13. And he said, "Good; I will make a covenant with you; but one thing I require of you; that is, you shall not see my face, unless you first bring Michal, Saul's daughter, when you come to see my face."

2 Samuel 3:27 - "When Abner returned to Hebron, Joabe took him to the middle of the door, as if he wanted to talk to him in particular, and there injured him in his belly. And Abner died from the blood of Asael, brother of Joab. " This verse describes Abner's death in the hands of Joab, an important event in the struggle for power.
