Wisdom of Solomon, 6

22. What Wisdom is and how she was born, I shall now explain; I shall hide no mysteries from you, but shall follow her steps from the outset of her origin, setting out what we know of her in full light, without departing from the truth.

This verse reinforces the importance of wisdom as something that comes from God and is reserved for the righteous and righteous.

Proverbs 3:13-14: "Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who obtains understanding, for the profit of wisdom is better than the profit of silver, and his income is better than the gold most thin." This verse highlights the superiority of wisdom in relation to material wealth, comparing it to the thinner gold.

Proverbs 8:14-16: "With me the advice and common sense; I am intelligence; my is the strength. The kings reign, and the rulers decree what is righteous. the judges of the earth. Proverbs 9:10: "The fear of the Lord is the principle of wisdom, and the knowledge of the saint is understanding." This verse emphasizes the relationship between wisdom and reverence for God, which is seen as the principle and source of wisdom.

Ecclesiastes 2:26: "For whom He [God] pleases, He gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness; but to sinners he gives the work of gathering and hudding, in order to give to those who please him. This is also vanity and running behind the wind. " This verse highlights the idea that wisdom is a gift from God to those who please him, while material wealth is seen as a meaningless vanity.
