Leviticus, 1

2. 'Speak to the Israelites; say to them, "When any of you brings an offering to Yahweh, he can offer an animal either from the herd or from the flock.

Leviticus 23:37 - "These are the days of rest of the Lord, days when you should summon sacred meetings and present burnt offering to the Lord, burnt offering, cereal offerings, and beverages, each on your designated day." This verse highlights the importance of observance of sacred days, when the people should offer sacrifices to the Lord as a form of worship.
