Exodus, 33

12. Moses said to Yahweh, 'Look, you say to me, "Make the people move on," but you have not told me whom you are going to send with me, although you have said, "I know you by name and you enjoy my favour."

Exodus 33 describes the continuation of Moses's relationship with God after the idolatry of the golden calf. Joshua 1:9: "I am not sending me? Strive and have good encouragement; do not fear, not even amazing; for the Lord your God is with you, wherever you walk." This verse is the continuation of God's promise to Joshua, showing once again the importance of God's presence in the leadership of the people.

Psalm 23:4: "Although I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no harm, because you are with me; your stick and your staff comfort me." This verse highlights the presence of God as a source of comfort and protection for the psalmist, showing the importance of God's presence in difficult times.
