Jeremiah, 13

27. I have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy whoredom, [and] thine abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! wilt thou not be made clean? when [shall it] once [be]?

" This verse speaks of Israel's infidelity to seek attention and approval of others rather than trusting God.

Hosea 10:12: "Semeai to you in righteousness, I ran according to mercy; WASTING THE FIELD FIELD; For it is time to seek the Lord until it comes and raining justice upon you." This verse speaks of the importance of seeking God's righteousness and mercy rather than trusting in our own strengths and resources.

Romans 6:23: "For the salary of sin is death, but God's free gift is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." This verse speaks of the consequences of sin and the offer of eternal life that God gives through Jesus Christ.
