Isaiah, 62

8. The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn [to be] meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

Isaiah 62 is a chapter that talks about the restoration of Jerusalem and the glory of Zion. The prophet Isaiah urges the people not to shut up and to cry out for justice, promising that God will restore the city and bring salvation. Psalm 122:6: "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; those who love you shall prosper." This verse is an example of how God's people are called to pray for the peace and prosperity of Jerusalem, which is a very important city for Jewish and Christian faith.

Galatians 4:26: "But Jerusalem is from above is free; which is the mother of all of us." Here Paul talks about Heavenly Jerusalem, which is free and represents the salvation that God offers to all his children.

Psalm 87:2-3: "The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. Glorious things are said of you, O city of God." This psalm exalts the city of Zion, which is loved by God and is a symbol of divine presence.

Hebrews 12:22: "But you have come to Mount Zion, and the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to the many thousands of angels." This verse talks about heavenly Jerusalem, which is the city of the living God and represents the salvation that Christians have in Jesus.

Zechariah 8:3: "Thus saith the Lord, I will return to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and Jerusalem will be called the city of truth, and the hill of the Lord of hosts, the Holy Mount." This verse talks about the restoration of Jerusalem and the promise that God will dwell in the middle of the city.
