Isaiah, 37

4. It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up [thy] prayer for the remnant that is left.

Isaiah 37 is a chapter that tells the story of King Hezekiah in the midst of a great conflict with Senaqueribe, king of Assyria. This verse talks about the importance of trust in God in all situations, which is evident in the attitude of Hezekiah in Isaiah 37, when he trusts in God in the midst of a difficult situation.

Psalm 118:8-9: "It is better to trust the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to trust the Lord than to trust the princes." This verse talks about the importance of trusting God above all, what is evident in Isaiah 37, where Hezekiah trusts in God rather than trusting his own skills or the help of other leaders.
