Ezra, 3

2. Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as [it is] written in the law of Moses the man of God.

1 Chronicles 16:34: "Praise the Lord, because He is good; for His kindness lasts forever." This verse is an invitation to praise the goodness of God, which is relevant to the celebration of the feast of Tabernacles in Ezra 3.

Ageu 2:9: "The glory of this last house will be greater than that of the first, says the Lord of hosts, and in this place I will give peace, says the Lord of hosts." This verse is a prophecy that points to the glory of the rebuilt temple and is relevant to the emotion felt by the Jews during the construction of the temple in Ezra 3.
