Ezekiel, 7

15. The sword [is] without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that [is] in the field shall die with the sword; and he that [is] in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.

Ezekiel 7 describes the arrival of the day of judgment on Jerusalem because of its disobedience and sin. The verses selected below reflect God's judgment on the people of Jerusalem and their lack of repentance:

Isaiah 13:6: "Shout of pain, for the day of the Lord is close; as a destruction coming from the Almighty, he will come!" This verse announces the arrival of the day of the Lord, a day of judgment for those who rebelled against God and His will.

SHAPONIES 1:14-15: "The great day of the Lord is near, close and coming quickly. Zechariah 14:1-2: "Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, and your withdrawal will be divided among you.
