1 Samuel, 3

5. And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here [am] I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down.

1 Samuel 3 narrates Samuel's call to be a prophet of God. God spoke to Samuel for the first time when he was still a child serving in the temple of God. The chapter shows the importance of listening to the voice of God and obeying it. Here are five verses related to topics covered in this chapter:
