Jeremiah, 51

6. Flee ye from the midst of Babylon, and let every one save his own life: be not silent upon her iniquity: for it is the time of revenge from the Lord, he will I render unto her what she hath deserved.

Chapter 51 of Jeremiah talks about the fall and destruction of Babylon, which will be punished by God because of his arrogance and cruelty. Isaiah 13:19: "Babylon, the jewel of the kingdoms, glory and pride of the Chaldeans, will be like Sodom and Gomorrah when God destroyed them." This verse speaks of the fall of Babylon, which will be punished for its arrogance and sins against God.

Jeremiah 50:46: "Listen to the cry of Babylon; the sound of great destruction comes from the land of the Chaldeans." This verse speaks of the imminent destruction of Babylon and the cry that will be heard throughout the earth.
