Isaiah, 65

12. I will number you in the sword, and you shall all fall by slaughter: because I called and you did not answer: I spoke, and you did not hear: and you did evil in my eyes, and you have chosen the things that displease me.

Isaiah 65 talks about the difference between those who seek God and those who move away from Him. Revelation 21:1: "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed; and the sea no longer existed." This verse talks about the promise of a new creation, as also mentioned in Isaiah 65.

2 Peter 3:13: "But we, according to his promise, expect new heavens and new earth, in which justice dwells." This verse reinforces Christian hope in total restoration and justice that will prevail in new creation, as promised by God.
