Isaiah, 37

33. Wherefore thus saith the Lord concerning the king of the Assyrians: He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow into it, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a trench about it.

Isaiah 37 is a chapter that tells the story of King Hezekiah in the midst of a great conflict with Senaqueribe, king of Assyria. In this chapter Hezekiah seeks God in prayer, asking for help and protection against enemies. God then responds to this prayer and protects Jerusalem, destroying the Assyrian army. This verse talks about the importance of trusting God above all, what is evident in Isaiah 37, where Hezekiah trusts in God rather than trusting his own skills or the help of other leaders.
