1. My little children, these things I write to you, that you may not sin. But if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the just:

Ephesians 2:10: "For we are his own making, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God in advance prepared for us to walk in them." Just as 1 St. John 2 highlights the importance of following the example of Jesus, this verse of Ephesians teaches that we were created in Christ to perform good works that were prepared by God for us.
