8. And I will not cause the foot of Israel to be moved from the land which I delivered to their fathers. Yet this is so, only if they will take care to do what I have instructed them, by the hand of Moses, with the entire law and the ceremonies and the judgments.”

2 Chronicles 34:27: "For thy heart has managed, and humble you before God, listening to his words against this place and against his inhabitants, and humiliated to me before me, and ripped his garments, and cried before me, I also heard you, says the Lord. " This verse talks about God's response to humility and repentance, indicating that he is willing to forgive and hear those who turn to him.

2 Corinthians 7:10: "For sadness according to God produces repentance for salvation, which to no one brings weighing; but the sadness of the world produces death." This verse highlights the importance of sadness and pain in the Christian life, pointing out that it can lead to repentance and salvation.
