Nehemiah chapter 8 describes an important moment in the history of the people of Israel, when Ezra reads God's law to the people and helps them understand what it means. Deuteronomy 31:12-13: "Gathers the people, men, women and children, and the foreigners residing in your city, that they may hear and learn to fear the Lord, your God, and take care to do all the words of this law. Joshua 8:34-35: "Then he read Joshua all the words of the law, both the blessings and the curses, according to all that is written in the book of the Law. " This verse highlights the importance of reading God's law and sharing it with the whole congregation, including women, children and foreigners.

John 14:15: "If you love me, you will keep my commandments." This verse emphasizes the importance of loving God and obeying His commandments, which are found in the law.
