Hosea, 4

1. Hear the word of the LORD, O people of Israel; for the LORD has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land. There is no faithfulness or kindness, and no knowledge of God in the land;

The prophet Hosea condemns the worship of idols and the corruption of leaders, pointing out the wrong behavior as the cause of people's problems. Isaiah 1:2-3: "I heard, O heavens, and hear, O earth; for the Lord said, I raised children, and magnified them; but they rebelled against me. Owner of his manger; but Israel is unaware, my people do not understand. " This verse talks about the lack of knowledge of God by the people of Israel, which relates to the central theme of Hosea 4.

Isaiah 44:9-10: "Those who make sculpture images are all vanity; and their most desirable things do not profit anything.
