Acts, 3

2. it happened that there was a man being carried along. He was a cripple from birth; and they used to put him down every day near the Temple entrance called the Beautiful Gate so that he could beg from the people going in.

Chapter 3 of Acts of the Apostles narrates the healing of a lame man who was at the temple door asking for alms. Peter and John, as they pass him, heal him in the name of Jesus Christ. Isaiah 53:5: "But he was wounded because of our transgressions, and ground because of our iniquities; the punishment that brings us peace was upon him, and by his footsteps we were healed." The healing of man lame through faith in Jesus Christ occurs in compliance with a prophecy of Isaiah, which shows that he was wounded to give us peace and heal us.

Matthew 4:23: "And Jesus roamed all Galilee, teaching in the synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all the diseases and diseases among the people."
