Psalms, 133

1. A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity!

2. [It is] like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, [even] Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

3. As the dew of Hermon, [and as the dew] that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, [even] life for evermore.

Psalm 133 talks about the importance of unity among the brothers and how this union pleases the Lord. The chosen verses are:

Proverbs 6:16-19: "Six things the Lord hates, and the seventh of his soul abhors: haughty eyes, lying tongue, hands that spill innocent blood, heart that machine wicked projects, rushing feet to flow to evil, False witness that utters lies and what sows strife between brothers. " This verse shows that the lack of unity and the sowing of discord between brothers is abominable in the eyes of God.

Ephesians 4:3: "Striving diligently for preserving the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." This verse highlights the importance of preserving unity among the brothers in Christ, and that we must strive to keep it.

1 Corinthians 12:12: "For, just as the body is one and has many members, and all members, many, constitute one body, as well as with respect to Christ." In this verse, Paul compares the unity among the brothers to the unity of the body, showing that all members are important and indispensable for the functioning of the whole.

John 17:21: "that all may be one; just as you, O Father, are in me, and I in you, who are also one in us, that the world may believe that you sent me." In this passage, Jesus prays that his followers may be one, just as He is one with the Father, that the world may believe in him.

Colossians 3:13-14: "enduring you and forgiving you one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; as the Lord has forgiven you, so do you, and above all this, to coat of love, and, above all this. , which is the bond of perfection. " This verse highlights the importance of forgiveness and love among the brothers, fundamental to maintaining unity and peace among the Christian community.
