Genesis, 17

19. And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, [and] with his seed after him.

Genesis 17 is a chapter that describes God making an alliance with Abram, changing his name to Abraham and instituting circumcision as a sign of this covenant. Hebrews 11:8: "By faith Abraham, when called, obeyed and went to a place that would later receive as an inheritance, although he did not know where he was going."
