Ephesians, 2

2. Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Ephesians 2 talks about salvation by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. The chapter describes how, before salvation, we were dead in our sins and we were objects of the wrath of God, but now, in Christ, we are saved by grace through faith. Following are five verses from other Bible books that relate to the topics covered in Ephesians 2.

Romans 3:23-24: "For all have sinned and deprived are of the glory of God; being justified free of charge by His grace, by redemption in Christ Jesus." This verse shows that all have sinned and need God's grace to be justified. This is related to the theme of salvation by grace in Ephesians 2.

John 3:16: "For God loved the world in such a way that he gave his only begotten Son, that everyone who believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life." This verse describes the offer of salvation through Jesus Christ and is relevant to the theme of salvation in Ephesians 2.

Romans 5:8: "But God proves His love to us, in which Christ died for us, we are still sinners." This verse highlights God's love for us and how Christ died for our sins. This is related to the theme of salvation by grace in Ephesians 2.

Acts 4:12: "And in no other there is salvation, for under heaven no other name is given among men, by which we must be saved." This verse declares that salvation is possible only through Jesus Christ, which is related to the theme of salvation in Ephesians 2.

Colossians 2:13-14: "And to you, when stable dead in sins, and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, has giving you together with him, forgiving you all offenses. Which was somehow contrary to us, and took it out of the midst of us, stinging it into the cross. " This verse talks about how Christ has gone through us when we were dead in our sins and forgave all our offenses. This is related to the theme of salvation by grace in Ephesians 2.
