Deuteronomy, 32

49. Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, [unto] mount Nebo, which [is] in the land of Moab, that [is] over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:

That in the palms of my hands I recorded you; your walls are continually before me. " Deuteronomy 32 emphasizes God's faithfulness to His people, and this verse of Isaiah reflects the same idea.

Romans 12:19: "Beloved, never seek to take revenge, but leave with God the wrath, for it is written," My is revenge; I will return, "says the Lord." God's wrath against those who reject him is an important theme in Deuteronomy 32, and this verse in Romans emphasizes that it is God who must deal with revenge, not human beings.
