6. And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD, which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy [endureth] for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.

2 Chronicles 7 tells the conclusion of the construction of Solomon's temple and his dedication to God. This verse highlights the importance of the temple as a place of worship and search for divine orientation.

2 Chronicles 6:40: "Now, my God, may your eyes be open and your listeners attentive to the prayer that I do to you in this place." This verse refers to Solomon's prayer asking God to hear the prayers made in the temple. It is a memory of the importance of prayer in a place consecrated to God.

1 Kings 8:11: "The priests could not continue to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord." This verse describes the glory of God who filled the temple after its conclusion, showing the importance of God's presence in that place.

Psalm 122:1: "I rejoiced when they said, 'Let's go to the house of the Lord.'" This verse highlights the joy of going to the temple and worshiping the Lord in community.

2 Chronicles 7:3: "When all the children of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of the Lord over the temple, they knelt with their face on the ground on the floor, they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, 'He is good ! Your love lasts forever'." This verse records the response of the people to the manifestation of God's glory in the temple, showing the importance of worship and gratitude to God.
