Nehemiah, 9

36. Behold we ourselves this day are bondmen: and the land, which thou gavest our fathers, to eat the bread thereof, and the good things thereof, and we ourselves are servants in it.

Nehemiah 9 is a chapter in which the Levites say a prayer of confession for the sins of Israel and reaffirm the covenant with God. The verses related to the topics addressed in this chapter are:

Deuteronomy 32:3-4: "For I will appeal to the name of the Lord; Give glory to our God. He is the rock, whose work is perfect, because all his righteous ways are. God is faithful, who has no iniquity; straight is him. " In this verse, Moses exalts God's faithfulness and righteousness, themes that are reinforced in the prayer of the Levites in Nehemiah 9.
